Your reflections (Mr Clive) in the shower on the parallels between dismissal of Amit Paley from the Trevor Project, and his previous McKinsey consulting role to Purdue Pharma in promoting sales of Oxycontin while knowing it to be addictive, reminded me of a recent statement by Genevieve Gluck (approximate words):
"Transgender is not a type of person. It is a conglomerate name for industrial body dissociation".
Effective salespeople are crucial in industrial body dissociation: encompassing the medical and pharmaceuticals industries, and activist projects (like the Trevor Project, Stonewall and Mermaids) and Genderbread Person educators, that all indoctrinate and feed the industry with recruits. Plus all the smooth talkers in the faux philosophies that underpin them: from Butlerian to Transhumanist.
Martin(e) Rothblatt and a range of trans-promoting US billionaires are heavily invested in pharmaceuticals outfits profiting from sales of eg hormones and "gender reassignment" surgery.

Speaking within the hallowed clickbait of Pink Pravda about 'Yasmin Finney's Doctor Who debut':
'...But, Davies added, there are unfortunately some who are “full of absolute hate, and venom, and destruction and violence who would like to see that sort of thing wiped off the screen entirely”.
To those people, he said: “Shame on you and good luck to you in your lonely lives.”
Thank goodness for rational, nuanced discussion. I'm so fed up of all the mindless slogan-shouting and flag-waving by people who are identifying as knowledgable on a topic. So much of it is just performative, I agree Clive.
